Hey Guys! This is Celondess back with another outfit design~~ Just a quick note: I apologise for the font style of the previous outfit design posts. I had to copy and paste those from our kinship forum, since they were created before the creation of this website. The rest of the outfit design posts will be like this from now own :D I apologise again.
NOW ON WITH THE OUTFIT ^.^
The Dawn Sentinel of the Forest
Unlike the other outfits my sister and I have designed which were specifically only for Elves and Men, I decided to make a Hobbit Style outfit for the people with Hobbit Characters out there, specifically Hobbit Wardens.
Now this outfit is inspire by one of the key values of House Sylvari which is to "protect nature and keep it away from corruption". This outfit represents a watcher/guardian during day-time who patrols the forest for anything unnatural. The Dawn Sentinel fights of any who tries to harm the forest and the animals that live there.
First glance at the outfit concept, it is widely dominated by green colours. I used a mixture of different shades of green to truly bring out the intricate design of the armour I used. The whole outfit itself is not too bulky and thick as a Sentinel will need medium armour, and in contrast with the other outfits it really resembles a guardian/protector look.
The Dawn Sentinel's Armour
I chose this specific armour due to the fact that it has a TREE in thorax and lower pelvis of the character. Of course it quite obvious why I chose it and we all know what it represents in this outfit concept. But that's not the only characteristic of the armour that I liked. The white outline of the rims and edges are another characteristic that I found quite nice as it really complements with the different shades of green which makes it really stand out even more. With these colour combination it goes well with the forest environment/setting. Dark green really stands out in this outfit as it signifies strength, resilience and power.
The boots are also quite unique as they have an almost kind of wood texture to them which I think is quite cool. With these and the armour it really makes the outfit very 'earthy' and 'green'. It also really suits the Hobbit race as it isn't too metallic.
The cloak component is what truly represents the 'day' theme of this outfit concept. By just eyeing the design it is really dominated with gold colours. The tree on the upper part of it really stand out along with the green background, which still keeps in concept with the theme of nature. The patterns on the lower parts of the cloak really accentuates and makes it look quite elegant and poise which gives the calming aura of the forest.

The Dawn Shoulder Guards and Gloves
The gloves have a fur texture on it which represents the many staunch and ferocious beast that lives in the forest such as bears, wolves etc.
Weapons of Dawn
One of the reasons why I chose the Warden for this outfit concept is that not only the aspects of a Warden fits in with a Protector of Nature concept, but the abilities play a key role. Some of the Wardens abilities are very 'bright' and emits flashing lights. For example:
It's quite a nice effect as it signifies the blinding rays of the sun, which is a nice addition to the outfit itself.
The Dawn Circlet
Lastly, the material I chose for the circlet is metal, to make it look very sturdy and strong. I didn't choose a helm for this outfit just because I didn't want to cover her face. The circlet has a kind of 'bone' design to it which symbolises a kind of ancient and pre-historic idea to it. It makes the character seem very learnt and knowledgeable. Just like the armour it also has white linings.
Overall:
This Outfit Consists of:
Head- Circlet of Adamant Dyed Rivendell Green
Armour- Forester's Hauberk Dyed Forest Green
Shoulder- Ceremonial Spear-Shaker's Shoulders Dyed Forest Green
Gloves- Snow-Dusted Travelling Gloves Dyed Forest Green
Weapons- Arinora's Shield and Watcher's Spear (Other Shields and Spears can be used, as long as it follows the nature concept design)
Boots- Glossy Leather Boots Dyed Rivendell Green
Cloak- Summer Travelling Cloaks
(If you do not have access to Rivendell Dye and Forest Green Dye, use normal Green Dye. However it will not be as authentic, but will still give the same colour concept)
Thank you for showing interest on this outfit! Make sure to stay tune for the next set of this outfit concept which will be revealed very soon!~~
